Lush Review - Golden Wonder Bath Bomb.

Oh my goodness so because I am easily amused the fact that my bath bomb was shaped like a present had me all giddy but then when I found out there was actually little gifts inside, well I basically shrieked...ok I actually shrieked!

Its not called Golden Wonder for nothing, the whole outer layer is covered in gold glitter, or as I like to call it gold dust, so its all shiny, yes I stood there going ‘Ooh a shiny…so pretty’ ahem moving on. The inner layer is a bright blue; there are also little small bombs inside varying in colours. This combination of these colours together turn the bath water an amazing shade of blue, I felt like I was laying in the Mediterranean, well almost. The bath water also had gold flecks running through it that’s why I aptly named it gold dust as I felt like I was bathing in gold and that made me feel like a V.I.P (Very Important Princess).

Sorry for the poop photo.
I was a bit sad that the smell wasn’t very strong or didn’t last. What I mean is that I dropped it into the depths of my bath and all its luscious smell went with it, I didn’t get to bath in the aroma of Golden Wonder, the citrus fragrance that was so strong in the beginning vanished almost instantly, so it left me a little disappointed when I didn’t come out smelling like an orange :(

Saying that I cannot ignore the effect the little wonder had on my skin. It left my skin feeling so soft. I suffer from dry and sensitive skin and this little guy soothed the irritation almost instantly and left me feeling hydrated and soothed. So thank you Golden Wonder.

The Beauty Parlour find and short review.

So I finished work one day and I decide to have a little noisy round town, as you do, and I drifted into Superdrugs I was looking up and down the beauty aisle and I noticed this amazingly packaged little product called The Beauty Parlour, now if I was going to buy a product based on its packaging alone then the whole range would be in my basket and at the till in an instant, its just so yummy! They have pastel coloured bottles, tube etc with vintage ladies on which I just loved! Anything vintaged up is a snazzy little babe in my books. So after falling head over heels in love with packaging I thought I better have a closer look, so I did. And I discovered that they have a pretty good little range of products, they have:

·        Body butters
·        Moisturizers
·        Scrubs
·        Masks
·        Lip balms
·        Eye treatments,
·        Face treatments

This list could go on…but you get the hint. I stood there a little giddy, as in my head I had just discovered another hidden little gem, yay!! I was doing the happy dance inside. It was decided I just had to buy some of their products and try them out so I bought the Butter me up Body Butter Duo, RRP £5 which contains:

Yours Truly Velvety Vanilla Body Butter, which smells gorgeous, amazing, divine, just plain lush! I have been using it for about a week and half now and my skin feels so soft, not greasy or rubbery and it also smells beautiful, all vanillary. The cream itself is of medium thickness, so it isn’t too runny or solid. It’s quite creamy so it goes over your skin easy and soaks in fast! Because of its vanilla scent I like to use this as my morning moisturiser, and because it soaks in fast its perfect for that job. So I am a big fan of this guy and will most definitely be buying it again!

Butter It Up Shea Butter & Sweet Almond Body Butter, this one smells like a cookie, a yummy body butter shaped almond cookie that I just want to eat! Because of the shea butter and almond oil ingredients this amazing creation leaves my skin feeling like silk, and I just adore it! Want super soft skin then I suggest you use this product! The cream is a little thinner on this one, but still creamy so it glides over easily and still soaks into my skin quickly, so I’m not sat there waiting for it to dry. I like to use this one at night after my bath or shower as I feel it has a more evening smell rather than a day smell.

Tip: Body butters work best after you have bathed or showered, as freshly wet skin soaks up the moisture better.

I also bought the Lip Service Lip Balm Collection, RRP £5 which contains:

·        Sweet on you Strawberry lip balm – Another favourite
·        Sugar lips vanilla lip balm –My favourite!

·        Sweet but juicy cherry lip balm – And another

·        Exotic beauty coconut lip balm –Also my favourite

All of these lip balms are simply gorgeous! They leave my lips soft, juicy and with a nice tint (depending on which one I use). They are in a round tin small enough to go into your pocket; bag, purse etc and I just love them! It has quickly become my new favourite lip balm collection.

I can honestly say that I am so happy to have discovered this collection of products and I cant wait till I buy their salt scrub, chocolate face mask, eye depuffer and well all of it!

Have you used the range?

If you are wandering where you can find this product it is exclusive to Superdrug here is the link to their website so you can look the goodies over yourself.

Review: L'orea Paris Studio Line TXT Volume Supersizing Spray.

I wanted to use this product for a little while before I reviewed it as I wanted to give it a fighting chance at winning me over, as I am usually disappointed in volume products because they never do what they say on the tin. Anyway I bought this little guy about two weeks ago and I’ve used it pretty much everyday since then and…

Ok to begin with I was disappointed because it says it gives ‘back combed volume’ so I was expecting a mass of poodle hair instead I got slightly puffier hair. So I was ready to throw it in the bin and sob like a baby because yet again I was let down by a product but…

After a few days of using it I noticed that my hair was bigger than it was before, no it wasn’t massively volumized but it was looking bigger and that’s a start. So I started experimenting with it I started spraying it under my roots, on top of my hair and at the bottom, then I scrunched and it actually started to give me texturized volume, which is great! That means that the texture of your hair is bigger and isn’t that what it says on the tin? Yep!

Before                                 After
I just can’t get over how much texture it gives my hair, whether its clean or dirty it adds life. I have quite long hair so it can become limp and a little lank, after using this product my hair stays texturized and doesn’t fall flat! So this little texturizing prince has won me over and has quickly become one of my favourite hair products.

It comes in quite a big tin and smells nice, not too producty, but I like the smell of hair products anyway so maybe my opinion doesn’t count there :p
I’ve also used this spray for some up dos. I used it to create a messy high ponytail and bun. It really kept my style in whilst giving me that added texture and my hair looked amazballs!

So this product will most definitely be going on my shopping list again.

Tip: if you find it isn’t working for you try spraying it under your roots first. Scrunch.. Then all over. Scrunch. Then at the bottom. Scrunch. It’s all about the scrunching.

Take care. Roschelle xx

Hello!!
Today I went shopping and I spent a little too much, my bank account is now screaming in protest!
So as I was meandering my merry little way through town I, completely by accident, happened to find myself in front of Lush and it would have been just plain rude not to go in, so I entered that magical land of fragrances and goodies and here is what I got:

After my bank abuse at Lush I moved onto Primark. Now I usually always get a little depressed clothes shopping because I never really find anything that’s me. But this time was different I got some items that I actually love and here they are:
·        I got two pairs of trousers, because I looked in my wardrobe and realised all I own is jeans. I really liked these ones, as there like a legging/jogging material and they are really comfy and can be worn as casual or dressy. I got one in three tone and one in bottleneck green both RRP £6.
·        I also got some awesome legging with Cheetahs on them! I love them RRP £4!

·        I got the most amazing jumper; it has my little pony printed all over it! I saw this and hawk dived for it! RRP £10.
·        I also got a hoody because I like them and I think that’s a good reason to buy something. RRP £8.
·        A black pair of converse/plimsole type shoes RRP £6.
·        Two pairs of frilly socks RRP £1.50 each.
·        I got this cute little earring set, as I’m not overly keen on big massive things in my ears, I’ll be honest, I prefer more modest ear jewellery. RRP £2
And there it is all of my goodies that i got on my shopping adventure i feel like i conquered my shopping depression and became a knight of all i own haha!

Lush Review - Think Pink Bath Bomb

Hi guys!! So as you know from my previous post (like an hour ago) I trolled through Lush and got myself some bath bombs and well I used one tonight in my bath and oh my god I am now in love! I don’t think I have ever been so impressed with a bath bomb before. I am so head over heels in love I had to post IMMEDIATELY!!

When I dropped it in the bath it started fizzing instantly and my water went the brightest pink, it was one of the funnest baths ever, I just kind of stood there…watching the show haha! Sadly in my euphoria I didn’t take any pictures…I just got too excited and wanted to get in my bath of pinkie goodness. Also I didn’t noticed this till about ten minutes of lounging in the bath but there was actually little pink love heart floating with me, how fricking cute is that?

The smell was also gorgeous! I was surround by the scent of Vanilla, so that made me happy, I love vanilla. Also the bomb created little frothy bubbles so I was even happier. Bubbles = one happy me! J
I didn’t believe the hype about Lush, but after testing out just one product I now know I am officially addicted. I just loved how good it made my skin feel and that was only a bath bomb. I am so excited to try their full range of products. Start sobbing bankcard because you’re about to get abused.
So over all I am genuinely so impressed with Lush and am now officially addicted. I shall be going back after Christmas to stock up on my fizzing treats J

Take Care. Roschelle xx

P.S. I just realised I have my other bath bomb still…YAY!!! Excuse me in off to bathe :P

Lush visit and little treats.

Hi guys!! So today I did my last little bit of Christmas shopping, and I just so happened to windle my merry way to Lush (A brilliant shop for stocking fillers). There was just soooo much AMAZING smelling things, I think I literally spent an hour in there. On the plus side I managed to get some stocking fillers for everyone and I also got myself a cheeky little treat J
I only got two bath bombs, as it id the season to give to others not myself…damn them!

So I got Think Pink bath bomb.
Which smells gorgeous!! I couldn’t stop sniffing it; I think I looked like I was cruising for a fix…oopsie.
It contains Tonka and vanilla (my favourite scent, EVER!)
It looks girly, it smells girly, and it’s just so PINK!
As you can see it’s a pink ball with little flowers encrusted on it, too cute.
I cant wait to use this little cherub and let you guys know what its like.

I also got Golden Wonder bath bomb.
Firstly, Oh My God! How amazing is this little guy? Not only does it look awesome, it also smells lush and…wait for it…it rattles because there are little treats inside, like a real present. I am way too impressed with this masterpiece (I’m easily pleased)
It contains cognac oil and citrus oil, so it smells all tropical.
I REALLY cant wait to dissolve this in my bath, mainly because the assistant said it take s a while to go, so it’s a god reason to have a nice, long hot bath. Result J

So ill let you guys know what I think of them and be sure to upload some piccys.
Have you used these little lovelies yet?

Take care. Roschelle xx

Another hidden little gem...FAVOURITE skin care range!!

Hi guys!! I’m back with another hidden little gem, which I have stumbled across in my findings and just absolutely love!! It’s the T zone skincare range. Ok so you might be sat there thinking what is she talking about, well I am talking about a skin care company that are simply amazing. I have been using their products for the past 2 years and I have never looked back. They use only active natural ingredients in their products, so it doesn’t damage or dry out your skin..
Their products contain
·        Tea tree - soothes the skin irritation caused by spots, blemishes etc
·        Witch hazel - brilliant on spots, to bring down redness and swelling.
·        Salicylic acid - very beneficial for your skin.
·        Menthol – A cool, refreshing scent.
·        Herbal extracts – All natural and very good for your skin.

Personally as an avid T zone user I think they leave my skin feeling energised and above all clean!
They have 3 main skin care ranges:
1.        Daily cleanse – gently enough to use everyday, but tough enough to fight spot bacteria.
2.       Deep cleanse – gets deep down into the pores to lift dirt and bacteria.
3.       Skin rescue and skin perfecting – rescues dry, damaged, uneven skin and perfects it to its natural state (no nasty blemishes)

Their products vary from facial scrubs. Moisturisers, creams, bb creams, spot zaps and even nose pore strips. They have 3 main skin care ranges
Here are just a few I love:
·        4 in 1 invigorating cooling scrub: with tea tree, menthol and orange extract. – I use this product everyday and I love it!! It cleans right down to my pores and leaves them tightened without drying out my skin.
·        Deep pore cleansing cream wash: with tea tree, eucalyptus & salicylic acid – my absolute favourite product!!
·        Shine control-cleansing wipes: with tea tree (Just tea tree) – Love these too; they effectively remove my make up, any excess grease and bacteria.

Because I have sensitive skin I always found it hard to find a skin care range that cleaned my face without drying it out, nothing less attractive than dry spots, but here I found a life saver. Their products are gently enough for me to use everyday, twice a day and they have NEVER dried my skin out. They still do their job and leave my skin cleaned, cleansed, tightened and blemish free.

I would HIGHLY recommend you give this product ago. No, it isn’t a high-end brand, but it works without damaging my skin, so I simply adore it and will be using it for many years to come.

I have left the link to their website so you can have a sneaky peak. Go on give it ago what have you got to lose beside blemishes?

 Take care. Roschelle xx

Sunday Favourites!!

Hi guys!! Happy Sunday!!
Well as its Sunday, my favourite day of the week, I thought I would share with you my Sunday favourites. Basically it’s my favourite things that I have tried, watched or seen through out the week.
So here they are:

Favourite lipstick:
Rimmel London lasting finish in metallic seduction..

Because it is winter I like to change my lipstick colours to some darker more autumnal shades, so when I found this little beauty I was so happy and impressed. I love the shade; as to me it looks like a slight brownie red. It looks lovely when I have done some autumnal messy curls and thrown on a slouchy dress. Also it does last for a long time, I can put it on, drink, eat, whatever and it is still on my lips. Result! Go try one as they have so many varying colours.

Favourite skincare product:

Simple skin kind facial cleanser and toner.
I have been hunting high and low for a cleanser and toner that didn’t either dry out my face or make it greasy. So when I was at my wits end my friend suggested Simple, now I use their moisturiser, but I wasn’t too sure of their other products, I’m a creature of routine, I like what I know, but anyway I gave it ago and I absolutely love it!! The cleanser is so light and soft and doesn’t make my face feel greasy, just soft and cleansed. The toner really does soothe my skin and tightens all my pores with out leaving me with dry patches, yay!! So a big favourite of mine. If your not happy with your skincare routine try Simple, it actually works without breaking your bank.

Favourite sweet treat:
Ok, so I don’t have what I would call a ‘sweet tooth’ but from time to time I tend to gorge on some not so healthy snacks. My favourite gorging snack this week is DOUGHNUTS!!! I literally have bought more packs than I’m proud to admit. They are just so fluffy and sugary and just plain yum!! Go eat some!

Favourite photo:
Ok, so I sometimes just randomly search the Internet for funny photos to see which ones can make me laugh the most, yes I do weird things with my spare time, and I found this one. It made me laugh so much I nearly pee’d  a little. I think its because my sister hung me from a wardrobe pole when I was little, flashbacks clearly haha!!

Well there you go guys some of my favourite things from this week, some beauty related some not.
What were your favourite things this week? Let me know J

Take care. Roschelle xx

Review - L'oreal Paris Studio Line Sculpting Spray A.K.A My Sculpting Little Warrior

Hi guys!! So as promised I’m going to be writing a few reviews over the next few days. My first one is on the L’oreal Paris studio line sculpting spray. As I said in my last post this is such a handy little tool, I used it nearly everyday in the summer to create some messy dos.

If like me you have long hair and find that it can become very lank this product is amazing at adding a little boost to your mane, I really like using it as well when I’m going for a messy up do like a high ponytail or top knot. This product is just so versatile I love it! It’s also small enough to go in your handbag so result J

What the label said it does:

·        Ultra targeted diffusion

·        Long lasting style

·        Ultra strong hold

What it actually did:

·        Long lasting style – even in the hot summer days this little warrior would keep my style looking fresh. There was not a limp hair insight.

·        Ultra strong hold – when I use this little guy I don’t worry about hairspray because I know it will keep my style in all day and night.

It’s not a heavy spray, what I mean by that is, it won’t weigh your hair down in product. The mixture is so light it just blends with your hair. You don’t have to use a lot of it either just a small amount from root to tip will give you your desired look. I will say if you do use too much you may end up with a hard surface area, so don’t be over generous. Even though it is a light product it is still super strong, I can spray it in, in the morning and it will hold all day. Win, Win!

I also really like the smell of this spray, that may sound weird, but I find some hair products can smell a little petrol-ly and no one wants to smell like that! It’s a really clean smell like clean linen. It’s not too strong and not too overpowering. So when you use it people aren’t going to be like “Damn that’s girls using product!”

If used correctly this product will make it seem as if your hair has just naturally gone the way you have styled it with no other assistance than that of just good genes! Isn’t that what we all want?

This product is definitely on my top ten favourite hair products list, yes there’s a whole list, Disney gave me unreal expectations for my hair ok!

I couldn’t big this product up enough. It is simple a little gem that I think not many people know about. I love my spritzing little warrior.

Have you guys used this product? If so tell me what you thought of it.

Take care. Roschelle xx

Yummy creations, Offers and Boots shopping (poor bank card)

Hi guys!! So I went shopping today and somehow found myself in boots, oopsies, anyway I actually found some really good items on offer and safe to say I came away with maybe too many bags? I’ll be honest my bankcard is now screaming at me! I blame my will power because I have none! They just had so many yummy smelling creations on offer it would have been plain rude to leave them there.

So I went down the hair section as I feel I have been neglecting my locks lately and what do I see? They have L’oreal Studio Line on offer 2 for £4.50. So I spoilt my hair and got:

·        L’oreal Paris Studio Line TXT Volume Supersizing Spray – I have heard some amazing things about this product so I was really excited when I sort it was in the offer, plus anything that adds volume is a bonus. Cant wait to try this little beauty.

·        L’oreal Paris Studio Line Sculpting Spritz – I used this all the time in the summer to create messy beach waves, curls and pretty much everything. Its such a handy little tool.

Then I go down the skincare section and find they have Soap And Glory on offer 3 for 2 mix and match! EeePpp, its safe to say I indulged in all their beautiful smelling skin goodness. I got:

·        Sugar Crush Body Scrub 300ml – this actually smells amazing, it smells good enough to eat! It also looks fab, you can see all the ingredients which I love! It contains smashed brown sugar & sweet lime, almond oil & macadamia grains. Really can’t wait to use this beauty!

·        Sugar Crush Body Butter Cream – this also smells amazing! It’s a moisturiser and I can’t wait to use it in the morning to make me smell like a smoothie! J

·        Sugar Crush Body Wash 500ml – again it smells amazing!

As you can see I’ve gone for some of the sugar crush range as it looks and smells gorgeous! I cant wait to start using them.

I then was then forced over to the make-up section by an unseen force! And guess what? They had an offer on too, Collection 2000 cosmetics was spend over £5 and get a free gift, everyone loves a free gift J I got:

·        Lasting Perfection Concealer – brilliant product, especially if like me you suffer with the dreaded ‘black bags’!

·        Lasting Colour Lipstick – I got the shade sweet tart, which is very pretty and girly and I can’t wait to wear it.

And then I got my free gift, which was…drum role…Collection 2000 Supersize Mascara!! I love anything that says it will make my lashes look bigger.

Ok so that’s everything I got from Boots, I was quite restrained actually ha ha! I’m going to use all these products and then review them and let you guys know what I think of them. If you have used the products mentioned above then let me know what you think of them. Also get to Boots and get some bargains.

Take care. Roschelle xx

A little surprise, crimbo card and how you can help.

Hey guys!! So I got two little treats in the post today. J

First thing I got was this cute little bracelet that I ordered from Hong Kong. I saw it whilst browsing through Ebay and instantly fell in love with it. It’s just so dainty, cute and girly. It has felt brown straps and a bronze centre that has ‘Handmade’ engraved on it. I think it will look so lovely with a nice tea dress or Peter Pan collar tunic. I’m currently wearing it now and I think its my new favourite bracelet. I can let you guys know the seller if you wish to purchase one.
I have complete rights to this picture.

Second thing I got was a Christmas card from my sponsored dog at the dog trusts. I think it is just so cute and I love the fact they enclose a little message from your dog. If you guys are thinking of doing something charitable this Christmas or you want to help out but don’t know how. Why don’t you sponsor a dog with the dogs trust? Its only £4.00 per month and it is so rewarding. Iv sponsored now for two years and I’ve even met my sponsor dog Charlie. Other ways you can help out are buy donating food, blankets, towels or even toys, they need all the help they can get as they get no government funding. You can also make a one of donation if you wish too. Go one make a dogs tail wag this Christmas.
I have complete rights to this picture

Sorry this post wasn’t exactly beauty related or stuff but I just loved my little gifts I had to share them. I have enclosed links to the Dogs trust website incase you feel like sponsoring or helping out J
